Yanomami Tribe
Yanomami Indians are tribes that have lived for over 200 years. Yanomami Indians live in the remote forest of the Orinoco river, south of Venezuela. The traditional and main language spoken is Xirianá, this language has been spoken for over 200 years. Yanomami Indians have reached a level to around 32,000 individuals last year, this was recorded in tribal areas.
Yanomami boys are required to participate in various training activities to gain the needed skills to survive and provide for future families, these activities can include hunting, fighting, killing, growing and collecting. All of these skills are needed to survive the day to day basis of a Yanomami individual. |
External ImpactsSome external impacts that have threatened the Yanomami Tribe for years include gold mining, cattle ranching and logging. All of these awful impacts according to archaeologists and scientist will occur for generations to come and will never stop no matter how hard we try.

Their FutureThe future of the Yanomami Tribe is not bright due to logging, gold mining, diseases, cattle ranching, prostitution and lack of everyday needs, this mainly includes medicines and and fresh drinkable water.
